What Super Bowl LI Means for the Bayou City
On February 5, 2017, Houston will take it’s place on the global stage when it kicks off Super Bowl LI at NRG Park.
As the city prepares for the big game, we are left to reflect on what this opportunity means for, not just our community, but the great state of Texas as well. Though it’s not the first time Houston has hosted the NFL’s National Championship, Super Bowl LI promises to be a particularly special occasion.
Not only will Houston be center stage for the championship in February – it’s also set to dominate one of the league’s few international games, set for November 21 in Mexico City. For the nation’s most culturally diverse city, this promises to be an amazing opportunity, uniting fans and followers from markets all across the globe.
